The question of what came first "the chicken or the egg" is often
used to describe a frustration of questions!
To get hired, you need experience, but how do you get that experience? Without experience, how do you get hired?
Perhaps we can HELP!
Professional FAR. 135 Flight Training Hawaii, is dedicated to train pilots not only the already high standards laid out in Federal Aviation Regulations chapter 135, but to a standard that will make you a Professional Pilot, and allow you to get that so important experience, NEEDED TO GET HIRED!
Training is conducted in Hawaii' by PARAGON AIR , Inc. The oldest fixed wing Air Charter Company In Hawaii! Our training program is FAA approved under FAR 135. We are based at The Kahului, International Airport, on the beautiful island of Maui. Classes are conducted over a ten day period.
Overview.
Having been there OURSELVES, albeit a while ago, we know! how difficult it is to get
HIRED.
Many hours, and dollars are spent, on our dream to become a professional pilot, not to mention the mistakes and 'U' turns that have to be made,
just to get that elusive flight crew position. After all
you effort, you find the other person beat you
to it, because they have already demonstrated, that they can meet the requirements
that, the airlines need.
Ground and Flight Training
With this in mind, an employer is hesitant to take on anyone, that might fail after such an expense. Therefore, anyone who can demonstrate
to the airlines that they can
PASS a FAR.135 CHECK RIDE, is in a more desirable position because of the
experience they have acquired.
So how do you get that one step ahead of your fellow pilots?
You must prove to a would be employer, that you have the skills to
PASS, a FAR. 135 check ride. It's as simple as that!
That's what we at Paragon Air! look for, when Hire a Pilot!
Any would be employer is going to look seriously, at a candidate
that has already met the grade, it's a Huge advantage! in the decision
process!

Hawaii
Maui, the Valley isle.
Maui, is the second largest island in the Hawaiian chain. Sitting in the county of Maui, made up of Lanai, Molokai, Kahoolawe. Maui was formed 200 million years ago by two
volcano's and their respective lava flows, the west Maui mountains, 5,800 feet amsl, and the formidable Haleakala, 10,023 feet amsl, the worlds largest dormant volcano.
Once known for its sugar, pineapple and whaling industry, Maui is now a
vacationers paradise with lush green vegetation, golden beaches, high surf and
world class hotels, which makes Maui the worlds most popular island. The year
round population of Maui is 100,000 people, increasing to 300,000 when including
visitors. This makes the flying population a large one. The only practical way
to travel in and around the islands is by air. We have four major airlines with
the remaining, being air charter companies.
Maui has three airports; Kahului, the main airport with a runway of 7,000 feet,
constant crosswinds and heavy 757, 767, and 777 traffic make this
airport very busy. Kapalua, West Maui, one of the windiest airports in the
United States (with constant winds of 25 to 30 knots and gusts up to 50 knots
down and across the runway) and Hana, on the northeast side of Maui. Maui
offers a great diversity of flying that will make any pilot a better one.

THE
NORTH SHORE OF MOLOKAI
The Hawaii islands span over 1500 miles of the pacific ocean, stretching from the Kure Atoll in the northwest to the still underwater island of Lo'ihi off the coast of the Big Island in the south east. Each island was formed as the Pacific plate crossed over a hot spot below the crust. The plate continues to move across the hot spot. Currently the Big Island is passing over this spot, and so the island chain continues to grow.
